Gender & Inclusion

Armed conflict often exacerbates existing inequalities, exposing women, girls, and other marginalized groups to heightened risks of violence, discrimination, and exclusion. At the same time, unequal social and gender norms can limit the participation of diverse groups in decision-making and peacebuilding processes, undermining inclusive and sustainable recovery.

Fight for Humanity integrates a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) approach across its programmes, promoting the empowerment of women, girls, and marginalized groups, supporting their meaningful participation, and addressing the risks they face in contexts affected by conflict and violence.
