Ceasefire in the time of COVID-19 an opportunity for Peace?

Following the ceasefire appeal launched by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on 23 March 2020, a number of armed opposition actors reacted positively and declared temporary ceasefires.

On 14 May 2020, Fight for Humanity co-hosted an online panel with several conflicting parties that have answered the call. They were invited to personally express themselves on the issue, on what could be done to cease this opportunity for peace, as well as to explain their own responses to the COVID-19 crisis.

You can watch the summary of the session below and/or each individual intervention.
